How does commission fee works?
We work under a commission based contract. Usually it is 6% of the total amount of the transaction, paid by the seller.
Do I must to have the RNE to acquire a property?
No. You do not need the RNE (registro nacional de estrangeiro) to proceed with the purchase, but other mandatory documents will be needed.
What is CPF (Cadastro de Pessoa Física) and what is its purpose?
CPF (cadastro de pessoa física) is the mandatory document used by the government to track all financial transactions made in Brazil. Without it, you are not able to open a bank account, transfer money and proceed with other services.
Can a foreigner own Real Estate in Brazil?
Yes, and we help you on every step of the way from finding the property, working towards your interests in dealing with construction companies or owners, helping you with the paperwork.
How long does the money transfer to a Brazilian account takes?
It depends on the chosen financial company, but generally takes 7 to 15 days to transfer the amount after the brazilian bank account is set up.
Which taxes are incidental when transfer the money from abroad?
When transfer money from abroad, IOF (financial operations tax) will be charged and can vary from 0,38 up to 1,1% (depending of the transaction) plus the negotiated percentage with the financial company responsible for the transaction.
